Native American Student Body to host Frybread Social and Heritage Celebration

Submitted by Laura Baldwin

The Native American Student Body, a registered departmental student organization, will host Raphael Wahwassuck, a Prairie Band Potawatomi Council member, as a guest speaker for the Frybread Social and Heritage Celebration from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Flint Hills Room of the K-State Student Union.

The event is open to anyone who wants to participate in a celebration of our culture as a way to relax before finals week starts.

The speaker starts at 5 p.m., followed by tribal dancers, free dinner and crafts.
