Planning to give a poster presentation of your research or scholarly achievements this semester? Attend a workshop from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Wildcat Chamber in the K-State Student Union to learn how to best convey your research and materials. Register here.

In this seminar, Theresa Merrick, instructor in the Writing Center, will share information on how to effectively design a poster that is visually appealing and well-organized. Attendees will also learn how to present written, graphic and oral content that can be easily understood and has an impact on diverse audiences. This session may be especially useful for graduate students who plan to give their first poster presentation this semester, but more experienced graduate students may also learn new strategies for improving their presentation skills.
