The marketing department has partnered with Hallmark to offer a new marketing case competition with a $1,000 prize for the winning team.

The contest is open to all College of Business Administration students at Kansas State University. Student teams will analyze a challenge based around Hallmark’s business and will make marketing recommendations based on their findings.

To compete, students should form teams of one-three students and fill out the Hallmark Case Competition online registration form. Once the registration has been confirmed, the competing teams will be sent the case via email. Teams will have until April 1 to submit their entries, with the top three teams from the written portion of the competition being announced on Friday, April, 5.

The finalists will then present their findings to a judge's panel at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, in 1092 College of Business Building. Each presentation will last 10 minutes, followed by five minutes of a question and answer session. The winning team, and $1,000 prize, will be announced at a reception dinner that evening starting at 6 p.m.
