Joshua S. Mylne, an Oz to Oz participant in conjunction with the Australian-American Fulbright program, will present "A Seamless Process: Evolution and Biosynthesis of Circular Peptides in Plants" at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in Town Hall, Room 114, at the Leadership Studies Building.
Presented by the biochemistry and molecular biophysics department and hosted by Phil Klebba, Mylne is an associate professor and Fulbright professional scholar at the School of Molecular Sciences and the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plant energy Biology at the University of Western Australia.
Mylne will present findings of his research and study during his two fellowships at biomedical institutes in Queensland and Western Australia.
Coffee and cookies will be served in the Town Hall entrance right outside of the meeting room beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Mylne will be on campus for three days meeting with professors, administration and K-State departments and sharing his program overview.
