Susan G. Komen founder Nancy Brinker conversation for students

Susan G. Komen founder Nancy Brinker will visit campus on Tuesday, Oct. 30. Brinker's sister is the late Susan G. Komen. Brinker will engage with students in a conversation from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.

In addition to her work with Susan G. Komen, Brinker served as a U.S. Ambassador to Hungary and chief of protocol under President George W. Bush, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama. She is also a writer, and activist in the areas of women's health, LGBTQ rights, and has been very involved with recent hurricane relief efforts.
