Take on sustainable fashion for Green Week

Students for Environmental Action and the Office of Sustainability are hosting this year's Green Week, which began Sunday, April 22. Green Week is a celebration of the earth and the environment through environmental activism and education that starts on Earth Day, April 22, and ends on Arbor Day, April 27.

Thursday's Green Week events are Share and Wear and the Up-Cycled Living Fashion Exhibit. Share and Wear is an interactive look into how students can be more sustainable through purchasing second-hand clothing and will be on the K-State Student Union terrace from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Upcycled Living Fashion Exhibit displays clothing made of upcycled material to explore the environmental footprint of the fashion industry at 6 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room of the Union.
