Legleiter selected to CUPA-HR Midwest Region board
Shanna Legleiter, director of learning and development in the Division of Human Capital Services has been selected to serve on the CUPA-HR Midwest Region board as an at-large member. Legleiter will serve a two-year term beginning on July 1.
The College and University Professional Association for Human Resources, or CUPA-HR, provides leadership on higher education workplace issues in the U.S. and abroad. Divided into four regions, each region has a board that develops programming and works closely with chapters in the region. The Midwest Region is home to 10 CUPA-HR chapters, including the Kansas chapter.
Legleiter is a 2015 founding board member of the CUPA-HR Kansas chapter. She has served two terms as president-elect and is the current president for the chapter. Legleiter's leadership and passion for human resources and professional development programs has enabled her to guide the Kansas chapter in becoming a strong and vital member of the CUPA-HR Midwest Region.
