College of Education faculty publishes pioneering article about LGBTQI issues

Deepak Prem Subramony, associate professor and coordinator of educational technology graduate programs in the curriculum and instruction department, recently published a pioneering scholarly article documenting the educational communications and technology field's continued lack of interest toward issues located at the intersection of digital media technologies and LGBTQI stakeholders.
The article — the first of its kind ever to be featured in a leading educational communications and technology journal — argues why the field needs to pay more attention to said issues, and goes on to suggest potential areas to explore in this regard.
