SGA live campus conversation tonight

Submitted by Student Governing Association

The Student Governing Association is hosting a live conversation at 7 p.m. Feb. 9 to take questions and comments from students, faculty and staff regarding a full ban of tobacco on campus.

This fall, a new Student Senate resolution was introduced asking the Student Governing Association to support a complete ban on smoking and chewing tobacco on campus. Before passing any official policy recommendation, the Student Senate has been working to gauge student opinions and habits concerning tobacco.

The event will be live on Cox cable channel 8 and online. Four SGA senators will be available on the program to talk about the resolution and to respond to questions that can be called in, emailed to sga@k-state.edu or submitted on social media using #CampusConversation.
