Recruiting participants for a study to eat a delicious meal and get paid

Submitted by Jiyoung Kim

Jiyoung Kim, graduate student with the Physical Activity and Nutrition Clinical Research Consortium, is conducting research for her master's thesis and needs eight inactive participants for a study.

Qualified participants are individuals who exercise — include walking — fewer than 90 minutes per week and are healthy. Participants will wear a wrist band for a week to measure your physical activity and given two delicious breakfast bowls for during two trials. Each trial will take about six hours, but participants can bring things to work on while sitting. Participants will receive $60 when the study is complete.

If you are willing and qualified to participate or have questions, email Jiyoung Kim at jiyoungk@k-state.edu.

The research study has been reviewed and approved by the Kansas State University Institutional Review Board and assigned the project number 7901.
