A Season for Nonviolence 2012: Konza Prairie moonlight walk to be March 10

Submitted by Sam Ray

For A Season for Nonviolence, the K-State Women Center staff would like you to join us on a beautiful moonlight hike at the Konza Prairie Biological Station, about nine miles down McDowell Creek Road. Hike the peace-filled Konza under the stars and a full moon. The hike will be from 10 p.m. to midnight on March 10.

The Konza Environmental Education Program is committed to providing Kansas communities with quality environmental education opportunities centered on prairie ecology and long-term ecological research. The Konza Prairie is one of the most productive grasslands in North America – the tallgrass prairie.
