Submitted by Fatmah Al-Qadfan

K-State Theatre presents "Miss Julie," adapted by Craig Lucas, at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 23-25 in the Purple Masque Theatre in East Stadium.

In this new adaptation of August Strindberg's classic drama, mistress of the house Miss Julie and her servant play a dangerous game of seduction in an effort to relieve themselves of their trapped existences. Using everything in their arsenals from sex to money, the two battle each other in a struggle for power and escape. Directed by Fatmah Al-Qadfan, a master's student in the drama therapy program.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for students, plus tax and applicable fees. They can be purchased from the McCain box office from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by phone at 785-532-6428. Tickets also can be purchased at the Purple Masque right before a show.
