Submitted by Office of Student Financial Assistance

Welcome to all of the new K-State students and welcome back to all of the returning K-State students.

The staff members in the Office of Student Financial Assistance are in 104 Fairchild Hall to serve you throughout your academic experience at Kansas State University.

You may view your K-State bill in iSIS. Sign into iSIS with your student eID and password. Navigate to the Student Center. Under Finances, click on View Bills. If you have not already done so, we highly recommend that you grant designated access to a parent or individual to view your financial information in iSIS.

You and/or parents should have signed up for direct deposit before 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, in order to have remaining financial aid directly deposited into personal checking or savings accounts. If you and/or parents did not do this, instructions for how to obtain your financial aid check is below.

On Sunday, Aug. 17, the Office of Cashiers and Student Account began to apply financial aid toward the fall 2014 academic term university charges. Changes in enrollment after financial aid is applied to university charges may affect the your continued eligibility. If you no longer meet the eligibility criteria due to reduced enrollment, funds may need to be reduced or canceled.

Friday, Aug. 22, was the earliest day that refunds could be available in the designated checking and savings accounts of students and parents.

Monday, Aug. 25, is the first day of the fall 2014 academic term and the K-State bill payment is due by 3 p.m. in 211 Anderson Hall.

Paper refund checks may be picked up between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, through Thursday, Aug. 28 in 211 Anderson Hall. Remaining paper refund checks will be mailed to your local address listed in iSIS or your parent's address obtained from the Federal Direct Parent PLUS loan application on Friday, Aug. 29.

The Office of Student Financial Assistance wishes you the very best academic success during this fall term.
