Employee roles during Stay at Home order

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

The State of Kansas has issued a statewide Stay at Home order, effective Monday. This executive order, while in effect, supersedes all local "stay home" or similar orders.

Kansas State University's mission-critical employees should continue to report to work to perform their required duties. Employees do not need required-to-work documentation to travel to and from campuses and are reminded to continue to follow social distancing guidelines.

"As K-State continues to adjust to a new normal, there are many employees who are required to continue traveling to campus to perform critical tasks that keep our university running," President Richard Myers said. "I thank each one of those employees for their continuous hard work. I also thank all of our employees who are working from home for their perseverance during these uncertain and challenging times."

For more information about the university's limited operations, read the COVID-19 update webpage. For more information related to county or state orders, refer to the county and state health department websites.
