Fostering Community and Culture of Belonging in the Workplace for supervisors offered Oct. 17

Fostering Community and Culture of Belonging in the Workplace will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 17, in the K-State Alumni Center Purple Pride Conference Room.
The interactive and informative session will allow participants to engage in a community healing hub and explore practices to develop a culture of belonging.
As a result of this session, participants will:
- Experience appreciation, affirmation, belongingness and consciousness change to deepen human connections with others.
- Increase capacity for perspective taking, perspective giving, self-compassion and empathy.
- Form new perceptions and mental frames about people with different identities and backgrounds.
- Explore team members' roles and responsibilities for creating a culture of community and belonging.
You must be a current supervisor of university support staff or unclassified professionals to attend this session. This session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program, and seating is limited.
