Dobrzanski and Lasko present at international piano conference

Slawomir Dobrzanski, professor of music, and Agnieszka Lasko, a graduate student in piano pedagogy, delivered two separate virtual presentations for the La Frontera International Piano Conference, "Women at the Piano." The conference was hosted Feb. 28-March 1 at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Dobrzanski lectured about piano music by the early romantic Polish-Jewish composer and piano virtuosa Maria Agata Wolowska Szymanowska, 1789-1831.
Lasko's presentation was titled "Echoes of Elegance: A Journey through the '22 Nocturnes for Chopin' by Women Composers."
