Register now for 'Water Wednesday' event
Limited spaces remain for this month's "Water Wednesday" luncheon, hosted by the Kansas Water Institute and Hale Library, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 14. Those interested in attending should register now online.
This month's "Water Wednesday" will focus on water quantity issues and how to adapt to a water-limited future. Lunch will be provided, with much of the time devoted to networking and forming collaborations for teaching, grant proposals and other opportunities.
Space is limited to 60 participants. The event will take place in the Hale Library, Room 181.
"K-State has an amazing depth of expertise about water resources, and bringing everyone together for 'Water Wednesdays' provides an opportunity to engage with others who might not be in our usual professional circle," said Susan Metzger, director of the Kansas Water Institute.
"Water Wednesdays" are a monthly event offered by the Kansas Water Institute, in an effort to facilitate impactful communication between water resource professionals and to disseminate research results.
