Nominate students for Blue Key and Mortar Board senior honor societies

Submitted by Abby Johnson

As we embark on a new academic semester, we are seeking assistance from faculty and staff in identifying outstanding candidates for the Blue Key Honor Society and Mortar Board Senior Honor Society.

On the K-State campus, Mortar Board allocates scholarship money to fellow students, promotes professional development, directs events such as free balloon day, faculty recognition, Mortar Board Week and Reading is Leading, and organizes multiple service projects each year. Blue Key is involved in facilitating the Catalyst Self-Development Program, Quest Freshman Honorary, LeadX workshops and other personal and professional development events, like Evening of Etiquette and the universitywide leadership appreciation reception. Both societies are dedicated to recognizing and celebrating excellence in scholarship, commitment to service and leadership achievement.

Your insights and recommendations play a crucial role in identifying deserving individuals who can benefit from these prestigious honors. If you know of students who exemplify excellence in scholarship, service and leadership, nominate junior students through this link to be contacted with further details.

Share this information within your network and nominate outstanding candidates who you believe would make valuable contributions to these honor societies.

For any inquiries about the nomination process or the societies, contact Abby Johnson at abbyjohnson@k-state.edu for Blue Key or Quinn Ketel at qketel@k-state.edu for Mortar Board.
