New budget model: Seeking feedback via survey

Submitted by Vikki Watson

Editor's note: The budget model open forum for Jan. 30 has been postponed and will be rescheduled. In the meantime, the survey remains open; please use the survey link below to provide feedback.

Budget partners across the university are invited to provide feedback about K-State's current budget model this month as the strategic initiative continues to move forward.

Participants can provide feedback by completing the online budget model survey. It's short — only three questions — and will remain open until 11:59 p.m. Feb. 1.

The budget model review work includes a holistic review of our university budget model so that it aligns with our Next-Gen K-State strategic plan. The review will ensure that the university budget model incentivizes research and interdisciplinary activities, encourages enrollment growth, provides greater financial accountability and preserves mission-critical activities. Visit the Budget Model Review page for more info about the initiative, methodology and timeline.

Consulting partner Huron is working closely with the budget model review steering committee, which will develop recommendations for adjustments to the budget model.
