Angie Brunk from K-State Libraries will present "Creating an Accessible and Welcoming Learning Environment" from noon to 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 24, via Zoom. The presentation is part of the Teaching and Learning Center's Professional Development Series.
Abstract: I want to make my classroom accessible and equitable for disabled students, but I'm not quite sure how to do that. How do I balance accessibility with professional realities? How can I provide meaningful mentoring to disabled students? How do I create accessible materials? Join Brunk for an interactive presentation answering these questions and more about creating a classroom that is welcoming to disabled students.
