NBAF ribbon-cutting livestream

On Wednesday, May 24, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will celebrate the ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony for the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility, or NBAF, adjacent to K-State’s Manhattan campus.
The K-State community may watch a livestream of the ceremony at www.usda.gov/live starting at 10:30 a.m.
This state-of-the-art facility will help protect the nation’s agriculture, farmers and citizens against the threat and potential impact of serious animal diseases. Many local, state and national leaders — including K-State President Richard Linton — will provide remarks during the ceremony.
