Rasheed elected Engineering Mechanics Institute fellow
Hayder Rasheed, Darold and Debbie Davis cornerstone teaching scholar and professor of civil engineering, has been elected a fellow of the Engineering Mechanics Institute in the American Society of Civil Engineers.
The institute is a premier interdisciplinary organization of engineering mechanics that promotes research and the application of scientific and mathematical principles to address existing and emerging engineering and societal issues.
Rasheed will be honored at the organization's annual conference in June on the campus of Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
