Legislature adjourns until April 26

The Legislature returned April 3 for the final week of the regular 2023 Kansas Legislative Session. The Legislature adjourned after 4 a.m. on April 6. 

In the last week of the Legislative session, conference committees met all week, including the conference committee on budget for fiscal years 2024 and 2025. A list of bills can be found online

The Kansas Legislative Research Department posts budget documents

The Legislature returns on Wednesday, April 26, for the veto session. The House Appropriations Committee and the Senate Ways and Means Committee will start drafting the final omnibus bill on April 24 and 25.
