Earn $50 gift card, help with family cooking project

Submitted by Diane Duncan-Goldsmith

Earn a $50 gift card by participating in hospitality, management and dietetics research. The department is looking for parents, ages 20-45, who prepare at least four meals a week at home and have a child 13 years of age or younger living in their home.

To earn the gift card, attend one of the Cooking for Families classes offered 4:30-5:30 p.m. and schedule a separate time, at your convenience, to test the preparation ease of two child-friendly recipes. Select one of the following dates to attend the Cooking for Families class — all classes will be in 167 Justin Hall:

  • Tuesday, May 28
  • Tuesday, June 4
  • Monday, June 10

To register for the class and sign up for a time to prepare the child-friendly recipes, call 785-532-2394 or contact Diane Duncan-Goldsmith at duncango@k-state.edu or Shely Weinrich at sjaney11@k-state.edu.

Refreshments provided. You will receive your gift card after you've attended both activities.
