Julie Yu conducts Ohio All-State Choir

Julie Yu, professor of music and co-director of choral studies, was the invited conductor for the Ohio All-State Choir on Feb. 1-4 at the 2023 Ohio Music Education Association Professional Development Conference.
In addition to conducting the 140-voice choir, she presented a session for the conference titled "Infusing Aural Skills in the Choral Rehearsal."
Yu's choirs have performed in Carnegie Hall, Hawaii and the National Cathedral in Washington D.C., as well as in Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Ireland and Italy. In addition to teaching, she is an active guest clinician/conductor for various honor choirs and professional organizations around the country. Learn more about Yu.
