Marching Band participates in Adopt a Family program
The K-State Marching Band teamed up with the Junior League of the Flint Hills to provide a brighter holiday for 17 Manhattan families this past December.
Through pep bands and other fundraisers, marching band students donated more than $3,000 to purchase presents for families needing assistance. Each section of the marching band shopped for gifts from families' wishlists with a budget of $150. Students wrapped their gifts and delivered them to the Adopt A Family program.
The K-State Marching Band is proud to help those in the Manhattan community have a brighter holiday season!
