Catalyst interest form closes Friday, Nov. 11

Submitted by Taylor Davison

The interest form for the spring 2022 Catalyst program for freshmen and sophomores closes Friday, Nov. 11.

Catalyst is a semesterlong self-development program that provides you with an opportunity to invest in your own success through personal habits and leadership lessons. The non-credit course is taught by two Blue Key Senior Honorary members in person and is centered around small group discussions during class. Throughout the spring semester, you will have the opportunity to interact with other campus leaders in your small group and hear from innovative and successful leaders during our five large lectures. Catalyst members will experience a semester of topics related to personal growth. These topics include goal-setting, building motivation, establishing self-confidence, evaluating relationships, dealing with obstacles and much more.

Catalyst will give you the opportunity to have fun and build relationships while discovering your capabilities as an individual along the way. Students not only build relationships with their classmates, but with the Blue Key Senior Honorary members who teach the classes. There is no cost to participate in Catalyst, and the lessons learned will remain with you long after you graduate from K-State.

Students can apply using the online form. Applications close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11.
