Find your new exercise home at K-State's 'hidden gym'

If you're looking for an exercise program that will improve your fitness, provide knowledgeable and helpful coaching and help you find a sense of community, come check out K-State CrossFit in 4 Nataorium, K-State's "hidden gym." Your first week of classes is free.

Classes are offered on the following times and days. Enter the Natatorium through the glass doors off Denison Avenue. Proceed through the wooden double doors and the room is just ahead to the right through the purple double doors.

Weekdays

  • 6:30-7:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Tuesday and Thursday starting the week of Sept. 5. 
  • 12:05-1 p.m. Monday through Friday. 
  • 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting the week of Sept. 5. 

Saturdays

  • 9-10 a.m. — regular class. 
  • 10-11 a.m.— free intro class. 

CrossFit classes include constantly varied, functional movement, performed at high intensity. Workouts include a variety of movements, including body weight — lunges, squat, push-ups, pull-ups, etc.; weightlifting — barbells, dumbbells, medicine balls, etc.; and monostructural — running, rowing, biking, etc. exercises. Every exercise and workout can be scaled to your fitness level, and you'll definitely learn some new movements.

Classes are around 60 minutes in length and include a warmup, skill work, a workout and a cooldown. Workouts are challenging, but fun. 

To get involved, come to a free intro workout 10 a.m. any Saturday in 4 Natatorium.
