Kedzie Hall annual emergency light testing

Submitted by James Seymour

Annual emergency light testing for Kedzie Hall will take place from 4-7 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6.

The test will consist of turning off breakers for circuits that provide power to emergency lighting fixtures. The entire building will not lose power; only specific circuits will be affected. Any electrical devices on these circuits will lose power during the test. The test is scheduled from 4-7 a.m. to minimize disruption for building users. Normal power should be restored no later than 7 a.m.
