Photography professor’s work in New York exhibition
Associate Professor of Photography Rebecca Hackemann Bahlmann's artwork is included in a three-person exhibition at Klompching Gallery in Brooklyn, New York, through Jan. 22, 2022.
The exhibition is titled "Curious Objects and other Devices." Fifty-six of her works were recently included in a major three-month international exhibition at Museum für Photogrpahie, Germany, that closed on Dec. 5.
The work consists of wet collodion tintype photograms and more than 50 mounted instant photographs, all of which are one of a kind. The subject matter addresses analog-defunct technologies and digital waste.
