All floors of Hale Library now open

Submitted by Cailin Riley

As you return to campus, remember that all five floors of Hale Library are now open.

The new Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab, which is available for use by all faculty, staff and students, offers a wide variety of high-tech gear and spaces, including a media studio, Liquid Galaxy display and equipment checkout. Coming soon, the lab will also include 3D printers, makerspaces, a sound studio and more. Please connect with Jeff Sheldon, associate director of the Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab, to learn more about how you can use this space.

Search It, the Libraries' online catalog and discovery tool, now shows the location of available items. Materials are still being returned to the shelves, but items in the main collection from call numbers A-UB have been returned.

The Morse Department of Special Collections has moved back to the fifth floor of Hale Library. The reading room is available by appointment as materials are in the process of being returned. Appointments can be made by emailing libsc@k-state.edu or calling 785-532-7456.
