An update on Your Wildcat Welcome for fall 2021
Earlier in June, Your Wildcat Welcome was introduced to campus as a coordinated welcome for students this fall semester. Get a quick update on Your Wildcat Welcome.
Campus partners are now able to submit their event plans to be included on the schedules shared with students. Departments should consider the intended purpose and audience for events to determine if it fits best during the In-Person Orientation or Week of Welcome components. An event submission form will serve as a single source for submitting all events. The Your Wildcat Welcome core planning team will review all submitted events and work directly with departments on final plans.
Events submitted by July 8 will be the first to be marketed to students in an online schedule of events. All other event submissions will need to be received by Aug. 1 to be included on other digital media avenues.
Another Your Wildcat Welcome update meeting will be at 1 p.m. July 8 via Zoom. During this meeting, the core planning team will provide updates on all components of Your Wildcat Welcome. Additional time will be available for departments to share updates of event plans. Register for the meeting here.
