Virtual open forums with OIE director and Title IX coordinator finalists

Submitted by Office of the President

The search committee announces two finalists who will interview virtually for the Office of Institutional Equity director and Title IX coordinator position and invite you to attend the virtual open forums presented by each candidate.
  • Stephanie Lott, Title IX and institutional equity coordinator at Arkansas State University, will interview on Monday, Feb. 22. The virtual open forum will be from 1-2 p.m.
  • Chocoletta Simpson, executive director, Office of Institutional Equity and Inclusion at Metropolitan Community College, will interview on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The virtual open forum will be from 1-2 p.m.
K-Staters are encouraged to participate in each virtual open forum and Q&A session titled, "What are the emerging challenges for higher education regarding institutional equity and what is your vision for the role of the Office of Institutional Equity at Kansas State University?" Search committee chair Linda Cook, chief of staff and director of community relations, will moderate each virtual open forum. Questions for candidates may be submitted in advance via email to Grant Hill at gghill@k-state.edu or asked live during each virtual open forum using the chat feature.

The virtual open forums may be accessed through the Office of the President search website at k-state.edu/president/jobs/. For those unable to participate live, the virtual open forums will be archived on the president's website. Application materials, itinerary and online feedback survey for each candidate are also available on that website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. one day following each candidate's virtual interview and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.

Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Friday, Feb. 26.
