College of Arts and Sciences to host seventh annual Civil Rights Teach-In

The College of Arts and Sciences will virtually host its seventh annual Civil Rights Teach-In at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, via Zoom during 2021 K-State MLK Observance Week.

Students, faculty, staff and members of the community are invited to listen to faculty speakers regarding various aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion at the teach-in. Featured speakers this year include:

  • Shannon Skelton, School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
  • April Petillo, American ethnic studies.
  • Shireen Roshanravan, American ethnic studies.
