Public forum on health care and public health supply chain challenges May 6

Three northeast Kansas health care and public health professionals will address their efforts of protecting communities through supply chain operations essential to treating COVID-19 patients and protecting health workers at a virtual forum from 1:30-2 p.m. Wednesday, May 6. 

Jessica L. Heier Stamm, associate professor of industrial and manufacturing systems engineering and a Gisela and Warren Kennedy Cornerstone teaching scholar at Kansas State University, will act as host for the session, "Health Care and Public Health Supply Chain Challenges: Examples from the Front Lines of the COVID-19 Response."

Members of the panel include Andrew Adams, Riley County Public Health Department Emergency Preparedness coordinator and Northeast Kansas Healthcare Coalition vice chair; Michael Bomberger, Community HealthCare System Northeast Kansas director of business development and special projects, and Northeast Kansas Healthcare Coalition chair; and Danielle Marten, Healthcare Coalition Partners of Kansas co-owner, and Northeast Kansas Healthcare Coalition Readiness and Response coordinator.
