Campus road closures, citations issued for failure to comply

Some roads on or near Kansas State University's Manhattan campus are closed. At this time, there are no marked detours on campus for this road construction and citations will be issued for drivers who ignore road closed signs.
Claflin Road is closed at the intersection of Claflin Road and Mid-Campus Drive to all traffic. In addition, North Manhattan Avenue is closed at Old Claflin Road on the south side of the intersection and closed at Centennial Drive and North Manhattan on the north side of the intersection. Campus police will issue citations if drivers go up the wrong way on Old Claflin Road. A citation also will be issued if a driver drives on sidewalks to avoid the road closed sign.
