KPERS offers pre-retirement seminars
KPERS will offer in-person pre-retirement seminars for KPERS and KP&F members this spring. The seminars are free to attend and run from 6:30-8 p.m. Sessions are hosted throughout the state. See the KPERS website for dates and locations near you.
Topics covered during the seminar:
- Choosing a retirement date.
- How to calculate your benefit.
- Steps in the process.
- Payment options.
- Taxes.
- Life Insurance.
You can use your online KPERS member account to register for a seminar. Trouble registering online? Call KPERS toll-free 1-888-275-5737 or email them the following information to kpers@kpers.org:
- Name.
- Location of meeting you would like to attend.
- Number employees attending, including you.
- Daytime phone number.
