University departments invited to participate in Free for All Friday

As the fall 2019 semester nears its start, the Center for Student Involvement invites university departments, colleges and units to participate in the Free for All Friday event during the Week of Welcome festivities.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, on Bosco Student Plaza, weather permitting.
Free for All Friday is designed to give students an opportunity to learn about Manhattan community resources and businesses as well as those services and opportunities on campus. This event is not intended to be your traditional browsing fair, but rather we ask participating departments to have a quality giveaway at their table for student attendees. Giveaways may range from pocket hand sanitizers to cups to phone wallets to apparel, but it should be more than a flier, candy or ink pen.
Interested departments should send an email to studentinvolvement@k-state.edu with department name, contact name, contact email and planned giveaway for review. Space is limited and will be filled first come, first served of departments that have an approved giveaway.
