ADVANCE Distinguished Lecture Series 2018-2019 academic year award recipients
The K-State Office for the Advancement of Women in Science and Engineering, or KAWSE, announces the Assistant Professor ADVANCE Distinguished Lecture Series award recipients for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The following are 2018-2019 award recipients:
- Tatiana Firsova, mathematics.
- Jennifer Francois, family studies and human services.
- Ketino Kaadze, physics.
- Shahideh Nouri, plant pathology.
- Stephanie Shames, biology.
- Nora Springer, diagnostic medicine and pathobiology.
- Valentina Trinetta, animal sciences and industry.
The purpose of this lecture series is to encourage tenure-track women faculty members in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or STEM, disciplines to make new professional connections.
