Summer undergraduate professional development seminars
As part of the Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, or SUROP, the Graduate School will offer a series of undergraduate professional development seminars this summer. Attendance at the seminars is open to both the non-K-State students participating in formal summer research programs and K-State undergraduates engaged in research or who are interested in pursuing graduate studies.
The seminars begin on June 10 and are hosted from 3-5 p.m. every Monday through July 15 in Fiedler Auditorium. Seminar topics are related to the research process, applying to graduate school, funding for graduate school, networking and career development, and presentation and communication skills.
