New resource available: 'Successful Interviewing at Kansas State University'
Talent Acquisition is introducing a new resource to assist departments in their approach to interviewing candidates and objectively identifying top talent. This resource, "Successful Interviewing at Kansas State University," contains strategies, best practices, checklists and tools that can be used by everyone involved in the interview process.
"Successful Interviewing at Kansas State University" examines key components and strategies of effective interviewing. This includes how to design interview questions, ask follow-up questions to drill down on candidate experiences, appropriately take notes with interview guides, conduct post-interview debriefs, address bias and interview error, plus much more.
To get the most of this resource, it should be read well in advance by search committees, interview panels, search chairs, hiring managers, and anyone involved or interacting with candidates during their interview.
