Make a difference: Women of K-State summer luncheon
The Women of K-State and the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce's Women in Business will host a high-energy, interactive leadership and professional development workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, in the K-State Alumni Center Ballroom.
Women of K-State and Women in Business will welcome Caitie Whelan, founder of The Lightning Notes, back to campus to engage participants in activities and conversations surrounding our personal and professional efforts to create change. Participants will learn how to create connection and deepen belonging within their community, and ultimately make a difference in their lives.
This year, the luncheon also will include a mini makers faire 30 minutes before the event's commencement. If you are interested in showcasing your craft, please contact Allison DuLac at adulac@k-state.edu.
Registration is $14 and includes lunch by Coco Bolos. Register today to reserve your spot. Credit/debit card, cash and check payments accepted.
