Bhadriraju receives international award
Subramanyam "Subi" Bhadriraju, professor of grain science, has received the 2012 Award of Excellence in Integrated Pest Management from the Entmological Society of America, or ESA, Foundation
This is an international award given annually to one scientist who has made outstanding contributions to integrated pest management with special consideration to independence of thought and originality.
"This is a wonderful recognition of Dr. Subi's outstanding contributions to the science of integrated pest management," said Dirk Maier, professor and head of the department of grain science and industry. "We are proud of the impact his accomplishments have had on the science and application of integrated pest management in the protection of the global grain-based food and feed supply."
