Brand Day Oct. 4 at K-State Student Union
Submitted by Communications and Marketing
The Division of Communications and Marketing invites the university community to participate in Kansas State University's first Brand Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the K-State Student Union.
Jeff Morris, vice president for communications and marketing, will provide a welcome at 10 a.m., followed by staff-led breakout sessions on topics including brand guide, social media, printing, newsletters, magazines and publications, photography, web development, video, persuasive communications, trademark licensing and editorial style guide. Licensed vendors also will be set up in the second floor concourse area throughout the day.
"This is a great opportunity to share where we've been, where we are currently and where we're going as we continue to build the university's already strong brand," said Steve Logback, assistant vice president for communications and marketing. "We look forward to collaborative sessions as we work together to further unify K-State's brand voice and discuss strategies for the future."
Brand Day is free and open to all K-State faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends, with no advance registration required.
