Leadership transition for the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies
Submitted by Office of the Provost
With the departure of Vice Provost Steven Dandaneau at the end of this month, the university is temporarily putting on hold the filling of that position. Effective July 1, the unit leaders and staff currently reporting to the vice provost of undergraduate studies will report to Mary Tolar, director of the Staley School of Leadership Studies. These units will report to Tolar:
- Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies
- Honor and Integrity
- Honors Program
- Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry
- Nationally Competitive Scholarships
- Pre-Law Advising
- K-State First
"I greatly appreciate Dr. Tolar's willingness to take on these additional duties during this leadership transition," said Provost April Mason. "Dr. Tolar will provide continuity and support to these important programs serving our students while allowing Provost Taber time to make decisions regarding future leadership for the office."
