Cats for Clean Air

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

Beginning today, June 1, Kansas State University moves forward with a smoke-free policyon all university-owned property. To observe this occasion, Cats for Clean Air will be at the K-State Student Union near the food court from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today with free quit kits and cookies, while they last.

K-State is committed to providing a safe, respectful and healthy environment for our students, faculty, staff and visitors. Smoking is already prohibited in university buildings and university-owned vehicles. The policy is intended to be self-enforced. As part of the K-State family, we ask all members and visitors to join us in creating a clean-air campus.

A variety of programs are available for students, faculty or staff who seek assistance with cessation efforts.
