K-State Concert Band and University Band concerts April 26
The K-State Concert Band and University Band will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, in All-Faiths Chapel. The concert is free to the public.
The K-State Concert Band will perform works by Arnold, Colgrass, Spittal and Sweeney. The Concert Band will be conducted by graduate students Allegra Fisher, Jay Koupal, Wes Lewis and Andy Tinsman.
The University Band is primarily made up of music education majors performing on secondary instruments and are conducted by junior and senior education majors. This experience provides them with opportunities that will better prepare them for student teaching.
