Week of Welcome 2018: Call for steering committee members
As the spring 2018 semester comes to an end, it is time to start looking ahead to Week of Welcome for the fall 2018 semester. Week of Welcome 2018 will take place Aug. 18-26.
In hopes of uniting the campus together to create a more inclusive and collaborative approach to Week of Welcome planning and activities, the Center for Student Involvement, or CSI, will host a steering committee meeting from 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in the center's conference room, Room 114 of the K-State Student Union.
All campus departments that anticipate hosting an activity during Week of Welcome 2018 are encouraged to send a representative to the meeting. There will be an opportunity to share anticipated plans, review marketing approaches, discuss volunteer needs and more during the meeting.
If you are someone who coordinates a departmental effort during Week of Welcome, but is unable to attend the meeting, please send details to Kelli Farris, executive director of the center, at kellifarris@k-state.edu. An additional meeting will take place in the summer.
