Submitted by Communications and Marketing

An exhibition by the K-State art department's Master of Fine Arts students opens Saturday, Feb. 24, and runs through Saturday, March 31, at the Manhattan Arts Center, 1520 Poyntz Ave.

"Accession: Kansas State Grad Show" gives first-, second- and third-year graduate students the opportunity to share their work with the local community. It will feature a variety of work in different media, including digital media, fibers, paintings, and works on paper.

The opening reception will be 2-4 p.m. Feb. 24 with the graduate students and art department faculty on hand.

"Accession: Kansas State Grad Show" is sponsored by Strecker Nelson West Gallery and Rebecca and Marvin Gould.

K-State's art department offers a Master of Fine Arts degree in the fields of ceramics, digital/new media, drawing, graphic design, metalsmithing and jewelry, painting, photography and printmaking. Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, the Master of Fine Arts program includes 12-16 graduate students across disciplines.
