Encourage students to join Handshake

Submitted by Ashley Bailey

The K-State Career Center has switched to Handshake

Handshake is used at more than 400 schools by more than 200,000 employers, meaning more opportunities for K-State students.

Handshake is also mobile. Students can discover jobs on the go and stay on track with reminders for approaching deadlines and direct messages from employers.

With their Handshake accounts, students are able to:

  • Make an appointment for career and major exploration, one-on-one career advising or a mock interview session.
  • Register for career fairs and other campus events.
  • Search for part-time, full-time and internship positions.
  • Sign up for on-campus interviews.
  • Research companies and employers.

For questions about Handshake and how to login, please visit the Career Center website.
